Today we wanted to have fun, and the thing that allows us to do it is to visit friends with whom we work every day. Going to their workshops and laboratories is stimulating and an inexhaustible source of ideas and creativity. Choose the marble. Choosing that slab and this part of the slab in particular because this is the way to make the idea unique and not reproducible. The structure has no longer much importance. It must be light in order not to suffer the weight of the marble. I always say I’m not a designer, but I like to conceive unique and unrepeatable objects, personalized, I would say dedicated.
Oggi avevamo voglia di divertirci, e la cosa che più ci permette di farlo è fare visita agli amici con cui ogni giorno collaboriamo. Andare nelle loro officine e nei loro laboratori è stimolante ed è la fonte inesauribile di idee e di creatività. Scegliere il marmo. Scegliere quella lastra ed in particolare quel punto della lastra perché questo è il modo per rendere l'idea unica e non riproducibile è ciò a cui abbiamo puntato. La struttura poi non ha più molta importanza. Deve essere leggera tanto da non subire il peso del marmo. Lo dico sempre, non sono un designer, ma mi piace concepire oggetti unici e irripetibili, personalizzati, direi dedicati.
