The Juventus F.C. sport area presented a very specific program of its new training center and asked us to design and set up the interior spaces in order to maintain the image that we had already designed for the headquarter, and also to study the solutions that best suited to meet the needs of its professional athletes. The club, and in particular the President, wanted the environment to be absolutely perceived as a sports training center, avant -guard, but essential, that there were all the equipment to carry out programs and methods of preparation: gym, swimming pool, rehabilitative pools, hair therapy, medical area and tactical/technical analysis area. In addition to these absolutely specific spaces, we also focused on creating an environment suitable to accommodate athletes, who spend the whole day inside the training center. It is therefore essential to provide areas for moments of rest, recovery, or to be able to welcome guests and insiders. Since today the nutrition of the sports professional is a fundamental aspect to adequate athletic preparation, in addition to representing a moment of pause and recovery, we have prepared a break area, dining rooms and workshops for the preparation of meals, followed and performed by expert nutritionists. Last important aspect that characterized the realization are the choice of materials and the design of the objects. There was a lot of focus on shapes without edges, rounded, not blunt, surfaces easily sanitized and non-slippering floors practicable even barefoot.
